Moira

Professional Bio
A native of Alaska, Moira Mills has been a professional bodyworker for more than 11 years. At the age of nineteen, Moira graduated from The School of Massage Therapy, started her own business and soon built a loyal following. After four years in practice, Moira had her first introduction to Rolfing®. Right away, she understood this was a process that confronted the systemic causes of the body’s structural deterioration. She began her Rolfing® training at The Rolf Institute for Structural Integration® in Boulder, Colorado, ultimately completing her certification in Sydney, Australia. Since that time, Moira has been practicing Rolfing® with runners, professional athletes and dancers, Ironman competitors, singers, actors and anyone interested in improving their body’s structural efficiency. In 2011 after attending The Institute for Integrative Nutrition NYC Moira began to offer Health Coaching as an additional element of her practice. Over the years it had become clear the limits of each field but also how they all come together to truly assist her clients in understanding and integrating their bodies.
In the summer of 2006 while traveling to Mexico City Moira was first introduced to Latin dance and the experience forever changed her. Always being a lover of movement it wasn’t until that trip she decided to jump head first into her passion for dance. Since that experience Moira has done all she could to explore Latin and African dances all over the US as well as Europe. Currently Kizomba and Bachata are the ones that have completely stolen her heart. She dances Dominican Bachata socially all over Los Angeles and New York and has most recently created Sassy Girl Productions, a company committed to bringing the highest level Kizomba instructors into Los Angeles from all over the world to help introduce the US to this beautiful dance.
She currently lives and works between Los Angeles, CA, Manhattan, NY and Albany, NY with her dog Sassy.
